You have the strength,
We have the answers.

Safe Shelter is here for you.

What is Safe Shelter?

Safe Shelter is a domestic violence shelter, a building where survivors of domestic violence can go to seek refuge from their abusers. The location of the shelter is kept confidential from the public, and each visitor must also keep the location private. Basic living needs will be provided for residents of Safe Shelter for up to a 30 day period.

The length of time that the victim can stay at the shelter is limited, but Safe Shelter does offer resources to help survivors find permanent homes. Safe Shelter only houses women at this time, as the number of men who are physically endangered by a woman is limited. Safe Shelter does provide housing for mothers and their children.
